We also collect personal information that is provided by you via forms, meetings, interviews and phone conversations. On occasion we may be provided with personal information from third parties, which will be dealt with in accordance with this privacy policy.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

We collect personal information provided by you via our website, including email, company name, name, city/state and region, and any other personal information as provided by you.

Our website uses “cookies” and “web beacon” technologies. Who we share your data with

The Loving Larder use and disclose your data to fulfil legal obligations and conduct our business including the provision and marketing of our products and services, to communicate with you, make purchases from you and to manage our services.

In order to achieve this we may provide your personal information to employees and contractors of The Loving Larder, other organisations that may be assisting us in conducting our business, or anyone else you give authorisation for us to disclose it. This includes, but is not limited to, cloud-based services, payment processors and third-party service providers. 

Any personal information we collect will be dealt with in accordance with this policy.

Sensitive Information

Sensitive information including financial information, login details and company documents will only be used for the purpose of which is was providing, unless you agree otherwise.

The Loving Larder take all reasonable steps in the protection of all personal data, with extra security measures in place to protect confidential and otherwise sensitive data.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment on The Loving Larder website (https://thelovinglarder.com.au), the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We may keep personal data records for up to ten years and/or as per our legal obligations. 

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on The Loving Larder website, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you on the website and elsewhere. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
