If you have kids heading for the kitchen every few minutes looking for ‘something’, these bliss balls are great to have in the fridge. They can make them for themselves – simple but delicious! Let them add their own combination of flavours with cocoa, spices like cinnamon, ginger etc – and of course if they would like a little extra sweetness try a little maple syrup or honey!
Making it themselves, tweaking the flavours to be exclusively theirs, and feeling proud of what they’ve made- it’s a great way to steer them away from processed junk food snacks. Most of all have fun with it let them experience new flavours – they might surprise us with some new knockout combinations of flavours!
2 cups of nuts, nuts and seeds or seeds
1 cup desiccated coconut
1/2 cup medjool dates pitted
Blitz, roll into balls, coat with coconut, store in the fridge!
